it was ok, i guess
poor soundproofing limited breakfast
honestly, the soundproofing was terrible. i could hear everything happening upstairs, and i mean everything. also, the 'free' breakfast was just some cereal and instant coffee. i expected slightly more considering what i paid.

lovely stay close to church
romantic location quick answer simple room helpful owner
the location felt very romantic. city center felt close. i really appreciated the proximity to the big cathedral. answers to my messages came very quick. rooms were simple, so clean, and everything i hoped for. the owners were so helpful, it touched my heart.
i missed a personal welcome upon arrival, i searched for the airport shuttle stop.

the kitchen had everything i needed. i found free milk in the fridge. there were free cereals available for breakfast at the dining room, it all felt so gentle and loving.

it was just across from the big church. bus stop 8 felt very convenient. drop offs and pickups were near. a walk around the entire city felt easy from there. it safety was good.

the host family felt so lovely. they were very helpful with recommendations and directions. they offered all the support you can imagine. i felt myself at home. it was more than perfect.

the guesthouse included a well equipped kitchen. space for groceries felt plentiful. coffee and tea were available all time. there were towels, soap, and shampoo in my room. i was a great value.

central apartment upgrade
free upgrade central location friendly staff
I booked a room but i got a free upgrade to an apartment. the apartment's central location was amazing. I was very happy about it. self check in was perfect. the staff was great and friendly, and they were ready to help.
The facilities seemed lacking, i must say. the bathroom looked old. Part of the door frame was breaking off. i noticed a large brown stain and a smaller white stain on the sofa in the room, it should be replaced.

The hotel is very close to hallgrímskirkja church, only a few steps away. It is literally in front of it. you can walk everywhere in town from there. bus service from the airport to bsi station is efficient.

A Romantic Reykjavik Retreat
generous owner spacious room ideal location
The dining room offered a large table. Guests gathered and enjoyed complimentary coffees, teas, and breakfast items. My room included space and comfort. The location allowed me to walk to many attractions and restaurants.
The duvet provided was too small. It did not provide enough coverage for an adult
